This photograph is from the "Particles of Light" Series. The photographs from this series are used for my current photographic work, as seen in the Heussenstamm Stiftung Exhibition in Frankfurt am Main.
The original image was shot in Beijing and it is a pigeon ready to take flight, observed out of a conference room in an office building. The pigeon is trapped in a humanly created world. And the photographer is trapped in an even more elaborate version of that world. I shot this photo at the end of the very last meeting in that building. Both the pigeon and I were on the edge of things
Photos are printed on Baryta paper and should not deteriorate in any major way for at least 100 years. (If dealt with carefully.)
In the exhibition this photograph is shown at a size of 15x10cm, and here it is also available in a larger size of 30x20cm
