New York City (RV Life)

This photograph is from the "Particles of Light" Series. These photographs are used as raw material for my photographic work like Gotland 2011.

For several years I traveled around the world and took hundreds of pictures a day. These photographs are the Particles of Light. And some are, like raw material would be, in themselves quite interesting.

The original image was shot in New York City and it appears to be showing a happy moment of a father returning to his RV. However the children welcoming the father are a marketing sticker. This is yet another moment of the alternative reality we have created for ourselves as humans.

The particle of light photographs (15x10cm) are sent via regular mail, unprotected, like postcards. All photographs are signed, numbered and stamped on verso. 

Photos are printed on Baryta paper and should not deteriorate in any major way for at least 100 years. (If dealt with carefully.)
