Good Time Pottery Workshop, January 2026 Wednesdays

Four weeks of working with clay, for beginners and experienced makers.

The workshop location is at our studio in Rua dos Quarteis 14 in Boa Hora, Ajuda, Lisbon. 

Begin 2026 by reconnecting with your own intuitive creativity.
This four-week pottery workshop invites you to work with clay, one of the world’s oldest materials, in a calm, but focused environment alongside others. No previous experience with ceramics is required, those who have worked with clay before will have space to extend and refine their practice.
You will work directly with your hands and in doing so, you’ll discover the materials limitations, but expand your creativity and confidence.

Across four weekly sessions you will:
 - build and carve using hand-building techniques
 - learn about glazes and firing
 - create multiple objects of your own design

Clay, tools, and glazes are provided. 
Your work will be fired at least twice by the studio team; a small firing fee may apply for unusually large or complex pieces. At the end of the course you will take home one or two finished objects, and, most importantly, a renewed relationship with your own creative process.
Completion of the workshop allows you to book studio-time packages to continue your practice in our welcoming space in Boa Hora, Ajuda, Lisbon.

About your teacher
Witold Riedel is an award winning, multidisciplinary German, Polish born artist. His artistic practice spans drawing, photography and ceramics. His works are admired for a meaningful use of materials as well as a poetic, philosophical layer that allows viewers to discover their own place in the universe. 
Before working as a free artist, Witold was a worldwide creative director based in New York City. He has inspired teams around the world, in person, to create successful and award winning work, no matter what the challenge.   
Witold’s art work has been exhibited and collected around the world. 
He has taught creativity from Delhi to Oxford. 
Witold learned ceramics from Kyoto based Raku Master Kyoshitsu Sasaki of the Shoraku kiln.
