New York City (Heroes)

Photograph from the Particles of Light body of work. I have traveled extensively around the world and have taken hundreds of photographs every day. From these photographs I have then calculated works like "Gotland 2011" (only from photographs taken on Gotland in August of 2011) and others. 

So, this photograph here is like a piece of raw material, or a particle, from which other work is then developed. But in themselves, the photographs are also composed and carefully taken from my surroundings. 

This one here is from 5th Avenue in New York City

The particle of light photographs (15x10cm) are sent via regular mail, unprotected, like postcards. All photographs are signed, numbered and stamped on verso. 

Photos are printed on Baryta paper and should not deteriorate in any major way for at least 100 years. (If dealt with carefully.)
